Community Manager

A role for a contractor to work remotely for a period of 4 – 6 months. Expected to turn into a full time role located in Leamington Spa. UK.

Description:

Panivox is developing an exciting new entertainment platform. It’s designed to be original, fun, entertaining, creative and accessible. We hope to launch later in 2021 and we need to start building a community support structure and recruit and support Alpha and Beta users pre-launch.

First and foremost, you’ll need to be a great communicator. You'll need to work with us to craft and share our messaging across a variety of channels to build and support our community of alpha and beta players, pre-launch and then manage a much larger community when fully released.

You’ll be very comfortable using social media and have an understanding and hands-on experience of how businesses and brands run effective and engaging campaigns through these channels. You’ll know how to adapt your tone of voice to fit different audiences, and you’ll be able to confidently moderate and manage conversations with a variety of personality types.

Importantly, you’ll be enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the content that we are creating, which will involve designers, writers, musicians and actors.

You’ll be reporting directly to the directors of this small new company and be able to juggle the kind of variety of tasks that comes from a unique community-led new type of entertainment. 

Attention to detail and strong organisational skills are essential, as is a curiosity and open-mindedness that allows you to experiment with different ways to engage and motivate users.

You’ll be responsible for the tracking and reporting of our social output, PR activity, marketing assets and other public-facing content, and you’ll be able to demonstrate an attention to detail in making sure that we have all the required under-the-hood materials in place to ensure that’s possible.

We would expect you to be familiar with all the modern social platforms, including YouTube, Instagram, Twitter and TikTok and working within Slack and Discord.

You will require some skills in graphic, audio and video production tools and an eagerness to learn and use to an expert level the app. we are making.

Responsibilities:

  • Create, configure and schedule varied social content to support our marketing and community campaigns

  • Build example content within our app.

  • Create text and video user guides for our app.

  • Use livestreaming to promoting best content and help build a creative community 

  • Work closely with Directors and other team members.

  • Monitor and moderate community activity in all channels

  • Track owned channel metrics and performance, including identifying and reporting on community sentiment

  • Monitor and report on press coverage

  • Research on similar and competing projects 

  • Be able to reach out to relevant influencers in order to get them excited about our products

Skills:

  • At least one year of professional experience in a marketing or community role

  • Top notch written and verbal communication skills

  • Experience in creative writing projects

  • Highly organised, thorough and self-motivated work ethic

  • Good understanding of marketing and community management principles, preferably in games

  • Knowledge of the entertainment industry (games, music, video, podcasts & audio books) in general and how these are marketed across multiple channels

  • Ability to use graphic, video and audio tools, to create supporting marketing materials for social media

  • Ability to work remotely in a small, agile team
