Studio Manager

Details:

A role is envisaged to start part time (50%) and expand to full time over the course of 4-6 months) as the company grows. This role can be very flexible to meet personal needs, such as childcare arrangements.

Whilst initially the team is remote working, it’s possible an office may be required within the next year and in which case this will be based in or near Leamington Spa.

Description:

Panivox is a small and friendly software development company developing a new kind of entertainment.

This role is primarily to support the Directors day to day duties freeing them up to drive the business forward, and it will include a huge variety of tasks.

These will include, but are not limited to, Bookkeeping, Human Resource, Contractor support, research, contact management and admin duties. 

If an office is deemed necessary, it will be the Studio Managers role to identify and recommend potential offices and then set up and manage the smooth running of the office.

Responsibilities:

  • Bookkeeping

    • Ensuring bills are paid and recorded

    • Ensuring invoices are raised, recorded and payments received

    • Monthly reports and projections are prepared when necessary
       

  • Human Resources

    • Helping raise and promote vacancies

    • Supporting the selection process and onboarding of new recruits

    • On-going support of staff and their welfare
       

  • Director Support

    • Helping Directors with general admin, diaries and communications

    • Helping manage and oversee contractors and potential contractors
       

  • Office Duties (if required)

    • Helping in the research and selection of a suitable office

    • Ensuring all utilities and services are provided efficiently and maintained.

    • Ensure the office has all the necessary supplies and equipment to run smoothly.

    • Create a great working atmosphere.

Skills:

  • Previous similar experience is essential

  • Proficient in all Office Apps. (Word, Excel, Powerpoint or Google equivalent)

  • Proficient in Invoicing / bookkeeping software - ideally Xero.

  • A positive, can-do attitude

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work in a small, agile team environment - remote or in office
